2011 recap, in rough yoga-terms. What I've done:
Let me first say I am really proud of this list. 2011 has been HUGE for me. I started my career as a yoga teacher, I got into the thick of my rough curriculum as a Biology major, and I uprooted my busy life in the Bay Area and created a new (equally as busy) one in a new city. I am really proud of those things. However, there is much to be learned, and I’m proud I can recognize those...

I have never been to Cafe Gratitude... and...
And I want to unfortunately eat everything on the menu (literally have been looking at it for hours and reading yelp). This is a pretty big deal. Namely because it’s pretty damn expensive, so I will research the hell out of what I will get, because I want to make sure this meal is worth the $15.00 I’m about to spend. Suggestions?! Have you been there?

Unapologetic
is the word for my New Year, new semester, every day. I’m not living in an apologetic version of myself anymore, and neither should you. Think of what the word unapologetic really means. And to be unapologetically you? Well, you are left with only you. Without all of the crap. <3

The Best, Unexpected Christmas Gift.
My YogaWorks Teacher Training is finally paid off, in full. SO HAPPY. I wasn’t expecting to be able to do that in under a year since the start date. I am so, so proud of myself and endlessly thankful for: the parents for gifting me a chunk of it. working for lululemon and YogaWorks at that time. I received a generous discount from my good friend who is the teacher training director. and...

Vegan on the slopes?
How I’m living without tupperware… I don’t know. But I somehow managed. We’ll see if it actually sustains me. Day #3 of living with 7 carnivores without a farmer’s market/with a market that barely knows what tofu is- Verdict? Just plain awkward.

so I didn’t bring my laptop, and have been casually dashboard scrolling on my sister’s new macbook when she allows it. Her patience is running thin after she watched me gently bump it on a kitchen chair, though (whoops) so my internet moments may be numbered! It’s cool. I’ll be back with plenty to say and pictures to post by Friday/Saturday. In the meantime…. get...

Wee, because the season is HERE! … can you say hip openers and (knee) joint stabilizing? Only thing left is to figure out how to get continual blood flow to a recovering ankle in an immobile position (but that’s just my issue). **Will anyone by chance be boarding Mt. Bachelor in the next week?!! I’ll be there! Message me if you are!

On a whim I have...
-Given second chances -Allowed love to resurface -Dropped everything (my job, my yoga classes, my responsibilities) and drove home a week early (that was this Saturday) -Jogged a 1/2 mile …I just ran for the first time since February. Feel so close to breaking out of these last feelings of lingering tightness and pain in my ankle. Change, change, change
